If you have any questions feel free to contact us also!

FAQ 1. Do I have to sign a contract?

NO! With PKC Karate - Kyle we do not have contracts and will not ask you to sign one. We beleve that signing a contract is unnessary. We believe that our program is strong enough that you will want to stay, and we are against the idea of charging students who are unable to attend. All we want is to teach you or your student affordable martial arts.

FAQ 2. When will I get my uniform?

After your free trial classes you will sign up and purchase your uniform at that time. And yes it will come with your white belt.

FAQ3. When will my first test be?

Typically we test every 3 to 4 months, however you will only test if you are ready. So practice hard.

It can take 3 - 5 years. Depending on how hard you train and if you are always at class.

FAQ5. How many Belts are there before Black Belt?

Every system is different. We have 15 color belt levels.

FAQ6. How many Black Belt levels are there?

There are 10 different levels of Black Belt, called Dan or Degree. Unlike color belt level these often have a time length associated with them. You must sit on your black belt for several years along with continuing your martial arts training to be able to test for a higher Degree.

FAQ7. What is Sparring?

Sparring is controlled point fighting (like a game of tag). Students wear protective gear while a Black Belt instructor controlls the match. All students are required to wear approved head and hand gear to spar.

You can purchase your own gear through our school, or we will provide it for you.

FAQ8. Do you teach Self-Defense?

Yes! We teach Self-Defense at every belt level, we believe this is integral part of Martial Arts. We also often hold self-defense seminars.
